Ladd McConkey and his wife, Sydney, have been living an average couple’s life in California. The LA Chargers wide receiver often takes breaks from his busy work schedule to enjoy quality time with her.

The couple went out for a romantic evening stroll with their pet dog on Sunday.

Sydney posted a series of pictures on her Instagram story from her special time with him. McConkey posed with their pet and with a coffee cup placed in front of him on the table in one photo. The picture was taken at Redondo Beach.

“Coffee dates,” Sydney wrote.

It was followed by scenic photos of the beach, including the sunset

“I love this place,” Sydney wrote.

Sydney has been dedicated to her fitness routine and often posts about her workouts on Instagram. She posted a mirror selfie on Jan. 12, flexing her toned abs on her Instagram story, along with a major fitness confession. Sydney talked about achieving mental toughness through weight training and cardio at the gym.

“Staying active even on the days when I don’t feel good/don’t wanna bc that’s the days that you GROW!!” Sydney wrote. “Now, there’s a fine line-rest is key some days. Weightlifting & long-distance running have given me all the mental toughness I’ll ever need (esp the running part).”

The LA Chargers posted a snippet from an interview with Ladd McConkey and his wife, Sydney, on Instagram on Jan. 4. It showed the couple answering questions about their relationship. One of the questions was who shared their feelings first.

“And I just remember asking him, like, ‘Who do you like?’ And he was like, ‘It’s a girl on the basketball team.'” Sydney said. “And I was like, ‘What’s her name?’ He’s like, ‘I can’t tell you.’ And I was like, ‘Come on, just tell me’. He’s like, ‘OK, you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. I like you too.’ And that’s how we started.”Sydney also showed off her stylish “baggy outfit” for the Chargers’ Week 17 game against the Texans on Dec. 27.
