The Arnold Palmer Invitational is the third signature PGA Tour event of the season. The tournament will start with its opening round on Thursday, March 5, and will have its final on Sunday, March 8.

Although it’s a signature event, the Arnold Palmer Invitational has a cutline after 36 holes. The top 50 and ties after two rounds will secure their spots for the final two rounds over the weekend.

There are eight signature events in the season, and three of them, hosted by players, have a cutline. This includes the Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, and the Memorial Tournament.

This week’s event features a stellar field of some top-ranked golfers, such as Scottie Scheffler, Russell Henley, and Rory McIlroy, among many others. The tournament has a purse of $20 million.
