Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has brought multiple new changes in each other’s lives, including their fanbases. Many of Taylor Swift’s fans have become fans of the Chiefs’ tight end, and vice versa. In fact, Swift was so surprised to find so many of Kelce’s fans in the crowd during her Eras Tour concerts.

In one of the episodes of the “End of an Era” docuseries, Swift talked about noticing many fans wearing Chiefs no. 87 jerseys while she performed on the stage during her music tour. Expressing surprise over how many Ksanas City fans turned into Swifties, the ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ singer said:

“It’s so funny to be on stage and to see thousands of Kansas City Chiefs 87 jerseys. If you would have shown me like a ‘This is what your crowd’s gonna look like in a year’ before I knew he was gonna come into my life, I’d just be like, ‘Why are there so many football jerseys out there?’ It’s a discernible difference in the way the crowd looks.”

Moving forward in her statement, Swift talked about the reason why fans love Kelce so much. “It’s because they can tell that he loves them too,” Swift said, and went ahead to explain the Chiefs tight end’s comfort with fame and his mindset behind treating every fan.

“He’s very comfortable with it,” Swift added. “I think ultimately, it’s the way he treats me. It’s very clear. And I think that’s one of the reasons why the fans are so in love with him, because they should be.”

Besides, in another episode of her docu-series, Taylor Swift admitted that it was her mother, Andrea, who played the actual matchmaker in setting her up with Travis Kelce.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s busy work schedules have never been a problem when it comes to giving each other the needed time. According to a report from PEOPLE from Dec. 16, Swift and Kelce value their personal space and time very much.

“(They) understand the demands that come with what they each do,” the source said. “Whenever they can, they make time to be together and really value that alone time.”

Another report from the US Weekly claimed that Taylor Swift had “intentionally slowed down” with her Rhode Island wedding preparations with Travis Kelce.
