The Texans had managed to secure a 10-7 lead heading into the second quarter. However, C.J. Stroud failed to remain consistent, which played a part in the team’s offensive downfall. He had four total interceptions heading into halftime, while the Patriots made a comeback to secure a 21-10 lead.

In the second half, C.J.Stroud did not score any touchdowns as the Texans found the scoreboard thanks to two field goals from Ka’imi Fairbairn. But Drake Maye’s 32-yard passing touchdown in the fourth quarter sealed the win for the Patriots.

C.J. Stroud ended the game completing 20 of 47 passes for 212 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions. On the other hand, Drake Maye completed 16 of 27 passes for 179 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception.
