Jena Sims shared a sweet family moment on Instagram, posting a photo with Brooks Koepka and their son Crew.
Sims shared an Instagram story on January 9 and showed the Koepka family spending time outdoors. Sims wore a pink sweatshirt while Koepka was dressed casually in a black hoodie and cap. Crew was dressed casually in a light grey full-sleeve top. Sims did not add a caption posting only a single pink heart.
The family has been spending time together following the WM Phoenix Open where Koepka missed the cut. With Brooks not set to compete at the upcoming AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the time away from tournament play has allowed him to focus on family.
Sims and Koepka got married in June 2022 in Turks and Caicos after getting engaged the year before. They welcomed their son Crew in July 2023. Now two and a half years old Crew frequently appears in Sims’ social media posts.
Jena Sims on motherhood and the values she wants to pass on
Motherhood has reshaped a lot for Jena Sims especially after the early challenges she and her husband Brooks Koepka faced with their son Crew.
Crew was born six weeks premature and spent close to 20 days in the NICU. He later underwent treatment for congenital torticollis a condition that affects neck movement in infants.
Those early experiences played a role in how Sims views parenting today. She has spoken openly about the values she and Koepka want to teach Crew explaining that those conversations began even before she became pregnant.
Discipline in particular, was something they discussed early on.
“What kind of values do we want to instill into them? A big one was discipline,” Sims said while speaking with Little Words Project founder Adriana Carrig during her bracelet collaboration launch in 2024. (via Sports Illustrated)
For Jena Sims discipline is tied to structure and consistency. She has described it as maintaining routines, putting in the work, staying active and being punctual.
She has also been open about navigating motherhood alongside her career. In 2023 Sims walked the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit runway while seven months pregnant with Crew.
“It takes courage to walk the runway 7 months pregnant,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Working for my lifelong dream brand, having no control over my body was terrifying yet the biggest blessing. I was never alone up there. Pregnancy is not slowing my ambitions, it’s fueling them.”
Since then, her career has continued to progress. Jena Sims shot her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit feature in December 2023, later became a SwimSearch co-winner, and was named Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie of the Year in 2025.
