Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love addressed the rumors linking wide receiver George Pickens to their team as the offseason approaches. He spent the 2025 season playing for the Dallas Cowboys and instantly became a key contributor on the offense.
However, with his four-year rookie deal expiring, Jerry Jones’ team has yet to finalize a new deal with Pickens. On Thursday, on the “Up & Adams” show, Love was informed that his teammate Micah Parsons was trying to recruit the wide receiver.
The quarterback then talked about his bond with Pickens and how all three of them have the same agent, David Mulugheta.
“If you bring in another player, George Pickens, he had a phenomenal year,” Love said. “He’s a great player. You know, I would love to have the most talented players on our team at all times. You know, we’ll see.

“I would throw him (Pickens) a go-ball (on the route). I would watch him go up and get it. I play basketball with him. I know what type of jump he’s got. … George got the same agent as well. Yes, we all get together for elite week. David brings us all out together and do some cool things.”
On Wednesday, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb joined Kay Adams on her show. He revealed how Micah Parsons and a few others were trying to recruit George Pickens during the Pro Bowl. However. Lamb is not letting his teammate get traded.
“Everybody in my face is trying to recruit him while I’m standing right next to him. Like, Micah (Parsons), for one,” Lamb said. “There’s a couple of people that I feel like is definitely trying to get my mans away from me.
“They’re not getting him. … He’s a great player, a phenomenal player. He’s a great person. He’s like my brother off the field, he’s like my brother on the field. …”
This season, Pickens recorded 1,429 yards and nine TDs receiving. The Cowboys finished second in the NFC East with a 7-9-1 record while failing to qualify for the playoffs.

Jerry Jones shares his thoughts about George Pickens future with the Cowboys
On Thursday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was questioned on whether they had begun negotiations for a new deal with George Pickens.
He provided a vague answer on the situation, but admitted to wanting to retain Pickens as a long-time Cowboys player.
“I’m talking to George all the time by virtue of my excitement for him,” Jones said as per the team’s website. “He’s better than, as far as what he contributed to our team, showing the potential that he could contribute. I’m looking forward to getting things worked out so George can be a Cowboy a long time.”
Earlier this week, Pickens also revealed his desire to continue playing in Dallas. The only thing that Jerry Jones needs to take care of is not to let the negotiations end the same way like it did with Micah Parsons last season.
