Jordan Love sounded the alarms Saturday night after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit at 8:15 in the second quarter of the Week 16 Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears duel. On first-and-10, Love tried to scramble, but the Bears’ defense got to him and took him down.
Defensive end Austin Booker slammed into Love, who lowered his head before taking a big hit.
The quarterback stayed on the ground and exited the field. He was headed to the locker room afterward.

Dan Orlovsky named key player for Jordan Love’s Super Bowl chances after Micah Parsons’ season-ending injury
After defensive end/linebacker Micah Parsons suffered a torn ACL, the Packers aren’t as favored as they were with the four-time Pro Bowler on the field. However, former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky said on Thursday that the most important piece for Jordan Love to win the Super Bowl was in the wide receiver room.
“As long as he has Christian Watson,” Orlovsky said, via “Get Up.” “Yes, Watson’s the key to that offense. I don’t love the fact that the right tackle, Zach Tom, has been hurt, but this young man’s playing at a very high level, and is he good enough to beat the Bears this weekend and take this team to an NFC championship game? There’s no question about it.”
He also noted how the Packers could lose to the Bears in Week 16.
“If he gets reckless with the football, or careless with the football, or doesn’t value the football and throws it to the other team or sacked fumble because he holds it on too long, then I think Chicago has the chance to win it,” Orlovsky said.
