On Sunday, Josh Allen and the Bills faced the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium in the wild-card round of the playoffs. The 2024 NFL MVP helped his team secure a 27-24 victory and advance to the divisional round. The quarterback completed 28 of 35 passes for 273 yards and three total touchdowns.
In the postgame press conference, Bills coach Sean McDermott heaped praise on Allen and his contribution to the team on the field.
“When your quarterback’s that type of a warrior, that type of competitor, it’s just, like I said from a leadership standpoint, it just goes through the whole team,” McDermott said.
Allen had an injury scare during their showdown against the Jaguars. However, the quarterback later chalked it off as a minor inconvenience before returning to the field and securing the win.
Skip Bayless has high praise for Josh Allen after the Bills’ wild card victory

With one minute on the clock, the Bills quarterback scored the game-winning touchdown while Matt Prater sealed the win with the extra point conversion. After the game, Skip Bayless took to social media to heap praise on Allen.
“JOSH ALLEN SETS THE TONE FOR THE BILLS: SUCK IT UP, GUTS IT UP, FIGHTS THROUGH INJURIES, KEEP BATTLING NO MATTER HOW BAD IT LOOKS, JUST KEEP MAKING PLAYFS. WHAT AN IMPRESSIVE WIN THAT WAS AGAINST A HOT TALENTEED TEAM IN JACKSONVILLE,” Bayless tweeted.
This season, Allen has tallied 3,668 yards and 25 TDs passing while rushing for 579 yards and 14 TDs. Can he go on to make his first Super Bowl appearance with the Bills?
