NFL analyst Joy Taylor trolled college football coach Lane Kiffin on Tuesday. Kiffin ended his head-coaching future saga on Sunday, joining the LSU Tigers and leaving behind the Ole Miss Rebels, the team he coached from 2020 through 2025.

The Kiffin drama transcended college football and while many are criticizing the coach for the way he handled his decision, others are having a laugh at the expense of Kiffin’s action.

Taylor belongs to the second group. She reposted a meme originally shared by radio host Charlamagne tha God that featured a picture of Kiffin and the phrase: “If I send you this, just know I’m doing what’s best for me.”

The Lane Kiffin saga included a lot of rumors of speculation regarding the coach’s future. Besides LSU, Florida was another option for the former Tennessee leader. He ended up taking a seven-year contract that will pay him $13 million annually. Additionally, he will get the same CFP bonus that he would have gotten if he stayed with Ole Miss during the 2025 college football playoff.

That would have given Kiffin $150,000 for a first-round CFP game, $250,000 for a quarterfinal game, and would have ended with a $1 million bonus if the Rebels won the national championship.

Joy Taylor also experienced a tumultuous exit from her latest job. Her deal with Fox Sports finished earlier this year, and the end of it came with controversy. Kiffin is at the center of controversy now, and the conversations and debates about his saga likely won’t end soon.

Joy Taylor opened up about experience with father’s domestic violence

At the start of November, Joy Taylor opened up about the things she endured during her childhood. More specifically, she recalled growing up in a violent home.

“My mother running away from my father as he chased her around the kitchen table and I’m hiding my younger brother and sister in my arms and she is screaming at him not to hit her in front of us,” Taylor said, via “Two Personal.”

She explained that her broken relationship with her father has affected how she connects with other people.

“My father is still alive,” Taylor said. “We do not speak. We haven’t spoken in many, many, many, many years. In a lot of ways, not having a man in my life that I can call on in the way that you would call on a father has isolated me from men, has caused me to have a deep distrust for people.”
