Ladd McConkey’s wife, Sydney, did not hold back after spotting a disparaging remark about her appearance on social media. On Thursday, she posted an Instagram Story featuring a video of their wedding day.
On top of the short video, Sydney shared a screenshot of a comment from a person who wrote:
“I thought he was getting married to a 40 year old women 🤨.”
Sydney fired back in a text box placed beneath the remark, saying:

“You can come at me for my looks, which I can’t change, but I’ll come at you for something you CAN change: hehe.”
She added another caption to make clear she wasn’t taking the remark to heart, writing:
“‘No this doesn’t actually bother me… it’s comedy, light hearted fun :)’”
To close out her response, Sydney took a moment to correct the commenter’s grammar, adding:
“Grammar lesson: Woman is one. Women is two or more. In this case you should use woman.”
Last month, on October 22, Sydney McConkey clapped back at another hater.
On October 20, Sydney McConkey posted a fun game-day photo on Instagram wearing Ladd’s No. 15 Chargers jersey. She captioned it:
“Who am I here for? You tell me 😉 Ladd McConkey.”
A troll replied:
“Your there for a s**tty team that never lives up to there potential.”
Two days later, on October 22, Sydney responded:
“’You’re’ and ‘Their’. Can’t be a hater when you use incorrect grammar.”
The post came right after the Chargers lost to the Colts on October 19 at SoFi Stadium.

Sydney wore a black-and-white cow-print outfit complete with matching ears and horns.
She posted the look on Instagram while dancing to Doja Cat’s 2018 viral track “MOOO!”
Ladd McConkey got married to Sydney Horne on April 12.
Sharing pictures from the special day via Instagram on April 14, Ladd wrote:
“Officially “us.”🥂 The best day ever getting to marry my bestfriend! 4.12.25.❤️”
