Baltimore Ravens superstar Lamar Jackson caused a stir on Friday after he dropped a cryptic message on social media. Following an 8-9 record in 2025, the Ravens have plenty of questions to answer this offseason.
They have been linked with several stars in recent days, and Jackson appears to be following the rumors closely. The two-time NFL MVP shared a GIF of Denzel Washington during “Training Day” with a blush smile. The GIF included the word “boom,” which could allude to the recent rumors involving the Ravens.
On Friday, NFL insider Dianna Russini reported that the Ravens joined the Dallas Cowboys as a team monitoring the Maxx Crosby-Las Vegas Raiders situation. The Cowboys were close to completing a deal for the five-time Pro Bowler before other teams stepped in.

Jesse Minter, a defensive coach, took over after they parted ways with John Harbaugh. Crosby could be the game-changer in the Ravens’ defense, but the Raiders won’t move on from him that easily.
Crosby played 15 games in 2025, recording 73 tackles, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception for 19 yards.
On the other hand, Jackson’s post might not be about that trade rumor. The Ravens have been linked with one of the best wide receivers in the league, too.

Lamar Jackson’s Ravens have been linked with A.J. Brown
Shortly after the Buffalo Bills ruled themselves out of the race for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer noted that the New England Patriots and the Lamar Jackson-led Baltimore Ravens remained in the race to trade for the veteran.
“The Bills trading for WR D.J. Moore would theoretically take them out of the A.J. Brown market. They checked in with the #Eagles about their wide receiver, from what I understand. Patriots and Ravens are the most likely potential partners, especially as I understand it, the Eagles inclined to only deal with AFC teams,” McLane reported on Thursday.
Derrick Henry has tried to recruit Brown to the Ravens, too. Whoever ends up joining the Ravens, it seems that Lamar Jackson is all about it.
