The LIV Golf Singapore witnessed a thrilling finish as Bryson DeChambeau edged out Richard T. Lee on the extra hole. The two-time major champion parred the playoff hole to claim his fourth win on the LIV Golf circuit.
DeChambeau entered the final day of action one stroke back but made a big recovery with a final-round 65. He was joined by Lee, who also carded a 65 to take the 72-hole joint lead. In the playoff, while DeChambeau managed to make a par, Lee bogeyed the hole to settle for runner-up finish.
The purse size of LIV Golf Singapore was $30 million, and DeChambeau won $4 million as the winner’s share. Richard T. Lee finished with $2.25 million for runner-up finish, while Lee Westwood bagged $1.5 million for a solo third-place result.
Speaking of the team portion, Dustin Johnson’s 4Aces GC won yet another title and bagged $3 million for the win. Besides, they also bagged another $1 million as bonus.
