Matt Fitzpatrick opens up about his win at the Valspar Championship

Matt Fitzpatrick had a good time playing at the Valspar Championship. He started the game with an opening round of 68, followed by the next round of 69. He played the final two rounds of 68 and 68 and settled with a score of 11-under. He opened up about his win in the post-round press conference on Sunday.

“Amazing. Amazing,” Fitzpatrick said. “Particularly, I felt frustrated all day that I had not made anything. Obviously to make something there on 15, and hole the long one there on 18 to in the end to secure the win was an amazing feeling.

David Lipsky settled in second place at the Valspar Championship. He carded four rounds of 69, 65, 70, and 70. He finished with a score of 10-under. Jordan Smith settled in solo third place.
