
Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly, sent a heartfelt message to Tyler Higbee after the Los Angeles Rams recently extended his contract. The NFL tight end is staying with the Rams. He inked a two-year contract worth around $8 million on Wednesday. He was joined by his wife and kids while signing the contract.
The Rams shared a few pictures of the memorable moment on their Instagram account, and Kelly reshared the post on her story with a four-word message for Higbee.
“Our people are back,” she wrote.

The Rams picked Tyler Higbee in the 2016 draft, and he has since been part of the team. In the last season, he recorded 281 receiving yards in 10 games and three touchdowns.
His best season came in 2022 when he recorded 620 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He also had a notable outing in 2021 when he recorded 560 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
Matthew Stafford, meanwhile, started his career with the Detroit Lions. He was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in 2009 and spent 12 seasons playing for the Lions before he joined the Rams in 2021.

Matthew Stafford had a good time with his wife, Kelly, in the offseason. The couple enjoyed a date night on Wednesday. Kelly offered a glimpse of their outing on her Instagram story with a two-word caption.
“Date night,” she wrote, adding a red heart emoji.

For the outing, Kelly Stafford wore a maroon dress and left her hair open. She carried a brown purse and wore maroon sandals. Meanwhile, the NFL star wore a white T-shirt layered with a brown jacket and opted for black pants.
Throughout the season, Kelly has been an avid supporter of her husband and attended his games along with their four daughters. She shared a few pictures from the last season on Feb. 3 along with a sweet caption.
“Better late than never. What a season. It’s about more than football and I’m so thankful to be with a man who gets that. We love you 9,” she wrote.
The Los Angeles Rams had an incredible season and made it to the playoffs after winning 12 matchups. However, they fell short of one game to make it to the Super Bowl. They lost against the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC championship.
