Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford, praised the Los Angeles Rams quarterback for being a loving and present father and husband.
On Thursday, Kelly shared a post from the “Dad Nation” podcast hosted by Mitchell Osmond and added her own heartfelt message for her husband.
“Matthew, Thank you for always being present with me and the girls,” she wrote. “Can’t imagine the weight you carry because you never let us see or feel it, but I hope you will always know how grateful I am that I get to be the one you come home to.. I will always be your biggest and loudest cheerleader. And so will your daughters.”

The post Kelly shared talked about a father sitting in his driveway before going inside his home. It described how he takes a quiet moment to leave behind the stress of work so he can be fully present with his family.

Kelly and Matthew have been married since April 4, 2015. They met at the University of Georgia, where Matthew was the star quarterback and Kelly was a cheerleader.
Matthew Stafford is a proud father of four daughters with Kelly. Their names are Sawyer, Chandler, Hunter and Tyler.

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Los Angeles Rams 31-27 in the NFC Championship Game on Jan. 25 at Lumen Field in Seattle. The loss ended the Rams’ hopes of reaching the Super Bowl.
A few hours later, Kelly Stafford shared what happened after the game. Early in the morning, she posted two videos on Instagram of her husband, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, coming home.
In the videos, Matthew quietly walks into his daughters’ bedroom and checks on them while they are asleep.
“After leaving everything out on that field and coming up short, at 2:30 am, this was Matthew,” Kelly wrote.
Matthew Stafford has had two trips to the Super Bowl in his career so far.
He won his first appearance in Super Bowl LVI in February 2022, leading the Rams to a 23-20 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
The 2025 season was his second deep playoff run with Los Angeles, but the loss in the conference title game ended his chance to return to the championship game.
