Max Homa reacts to $80M-worth MLB star’s World Series game winning play after ‘watching baseball for 24 hours’

Max Homa reacted to the impressive game by Freddie Freeman in the World Series this week. In the third game of the seven-game series, the Los Angeles Dodgers played against the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Dodgers were pretty impressive this week and won their second game straight. Freeman hit a home run in the 18th inning to help his team win the match.

Homa cheered for Freeman, who has a net worth of $80 million (via Celebrity Net Worth). The American golfer shared a video of the home run, which was initially shared by MLB, on his Instagram story and reacted with a four-word message:

“This guy gets it,” he wrote.

In another Instagram story, Homa shared that he has been into baseball for 24 hours.

“I’ve been watching baseball for like 24 hours. Making the second red-eye in consecutive days bearable,” he wrote.

Homa is making the most of the offseason away from the greens, watching the baseball games. In the World Series, the Blue Jays won the first game, and then in the next two games, the Dodgers registered a win. Next, they will play on Wednesday, Oct. 29.


Max Homa shares a heartfelt message on “disappointing” 2025 season

Max Homa had a tough time on the greens in 2025. He struggled with his game and missed the cut in 15 tournaments.

On Sunday, he shared a heartfelt message about his 2025 PGA Tour season. He posted a few pictures of his outings this year with a long caption.

“2025 season is a wrap for me. Disappointing season. It’s not a true failure if u learn something from it, and boy did I learn a lot this year. Looking forward to getting to work and making ‘26 my female dog. Huge thx to Utah and all the fans for showing out this week and making my last event of the year a fun one! #golf #pvo” he wrote.

Max Homa started his 2025 PGA Tour campaign at The Sentry with a T26 finish. He played four rounds of 69, 69, 67, and 68. He then withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open after the opening round of 77 and later settled for a T53 finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He missed the cut in the next five tournaments but returned with a T12 finish at the Masters.

Some of his other notable finishes from this season include T5 at the John Deere Classic, T9 at the Bank of Utah Championship, and T18 at the Sanderson Farms Championship. He settled in 93rd place in the FedEx Cup standings after the last week event of the fall season
