“Men will let you down”: Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, went through two breakups in 2023 before the start of her “Eras Tour.” However, it was her love for the tour that helped her handle the tough phase.

“Men will let you down,” Swift said in Episode 4 of “The End of an Era.” “The “Eras Tour” never will.”

The result of the pain was her “The Tortured Poets Department” album.

“Tortured Poets album is like this purge of just everything–everything bad that I felt for two years,” Swift said.

“It was a really rough time in my life, so the songs reflect that. Feeling like I’m not a person, I’m just this big conglomerate that no one sees as a really human being, especially not men that I date. And in the whole process just being like, nothing works. Nothing. There’s no one for me in the world.”

Swift also said that the Kansas CIty Chiefs tight end is different. She highlighted that they understand and see each other the same way as their work lives are similar.

The “Eras Tour” started in March 2023 and ended in December 2024.

Swift dated Joe Alwyn from 2016-2023. They worked together on albums like “Folklore,” “Evermore” and “Midnights.” After their breakup, she dated musician Matty Healy from May-June 2023.
