Micah Parsons’ brother fires back at NBA reporter over questioning Packers LB’s presence in Dallas at Mavericks game

Micah Parsons was in attendance for the Dallas Mavericks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game. The Green Bay Packers linebacker was seated courtside as the Cavaliers picked up a 138-105 win.

NBA reporter Ron Harrod Jr. posted a picture of Parsons at the game with the caption,

“Micah Parsons seems to spend more time in Dallas than GB. He’s chilling at the Mavericks game.”

However, the perennial Pro Bowler’s brother, Terrence, came to his defense.

“Prolly because that’s where he lives 😂 swear it ain’t gotta be that deep.” Terrence Parsons Jr. wrote as a direct response.

Dak Prescott spent the first four seasons of his professional football career with the Cowboys. The Penn State Nittany Lions product was arguably the team’s most important defensive player during that spell.

However, Parsons and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones couldn’t reach a new contract. So, the superstar LB was traded to the Green Bay Packers ahead of the 2025 season. He would go on to get his fifth straight Pro Bowl nod and a first-team All-Pro selection.

Parsons was merely taking in some basketball action during the offseason. It helps that he still refuses in Dallas, which is home to both the Mavericks and his former team, the Cowboys.

Micah Parsons targeting 2026 return from injury

Micah Parsons suffered a torn ACL in Week 15 during a loss to the Denver Broncos. The non-contact left knee injury ended what had been, up to that point, a highly promising first season with the Packets. He has been on the recovery trail ever since.

According to Yahoo Sports, Parsons provided an update about his recovery on X.

“I just hit my two-month mark a few days ago! I’m so blessed, brother! I’m walking and moving on my own again! God is amazing,” Parsons said in response to a fan last Tuesday.

The news will be a breath of fresh air for Green Bay Packers fans. It means there’s a chance he’ll be available early in the 2026 season. The Packers’ pass rush is significantly more potent when Parsons is hounding opposing quarterbacks.

The Green Bay Packers are searching for their first Super Bowl since the Aaron Rodgers era. They’ll fancy their chances in the stacked NFC with a fully fit Micah Parsons and an ever-improving roster.
