Nelly Korda was seen training in a white tank top as she continues her preparation for the upcoming LPGA season. The World No. 2 shared a glimpse of her gym work, showing her focus on fitness ahead of the new year on tour.
On Monday, January 5, Korda posted an Instagram story from her workout session, where she was performing a kettlebell walking lunge. The exercise targets lower body strength while also helping with balance and core control.
Korda wore a fitted white tank top paired with light blue high-waisted leggings and white training shoes. The clip was set to the song Turn The Lights Off by ARAÉ.

Along with her fitness work, Korda has also been spending time on the range. As the new LPGA season draws closer, she has continued to fine-tune her swing and often shares updates on social media. Earlier on Monday, she posted a video of her swing with a brief caption.
“Step 1️⃣ step 2️⃣.. simple,” she wrote.
Her post caught the attention of NBA legend LeBron James, who praised her technique in the comments and wrote:
“THE BEST SWING/TEMPO there is!”
The 2026 LPGA season is set to begin later this month with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions at Lake Nona Golf Course, scheduled from January 29 to February 1.
Nelly Korda last competed at the PNC Championship alongside her father, Petr Korda, where Team Korda finished tied for fourth. Since then, she has taken a short break, which included time with family, before returning to practice and training as she builds toward the new season.
Nelly Korda explains why she plans to play fewer LPGA events in 2026
Nelly Korda has decided to reduce her schedule for the 2026 LPGA season, aiming to better manage her body and workload. She spoke about her plans during a press conference at the PNC Championship, where she explained that playing too many events in a row has taken a physical toll on her in the past.
After competing in 19 tournaments in 2025 and making the cut in every start, Korda said that she understood where her limits were.
“It’s probably 18 to 20 is my like perfect number, where it kind of like flows. I like being on max three in a row. I will not do four in a row. I’ve seen my body deteriorate over that and I kind of get into the zone of possibly getting injured,” Korda said.
“That’s the one thing that I have learned this year or throughout my career… It’s okay to push it, but you want to kind of be freshest in some periods of the season. Like that middle part the season gets compacted with a lot of events and flying, so you really want to make sure you’re giving yourself a break, you’re fresh going into those,” she added.
Nelly Korda had several strong finishes in 2025 despite not winning a title. She opened the season with a runner-up finish at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and followed it with a tied seventh at the Founders Cup. Other notable results included a tied fifth at the Mizuho Americas Open, a solo fifth at the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open, a solo third at the CME Group Tour Championship, and a tied second at the Grant Thornton Invitational.
