Nelly Korda shared her reaction to the scenic Sea Island in Georgia. The World No. 2 has been away from competitive golf for a few weeks and is currently spending some time in the coastal state.
Sea Island is a private resort island off Georgia’s southeastern coast, located between Jacksonville, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia. While Korda didn’t mention why she was there, she posted a short clip on her Instagram story showing the view and wrote,
“Sea Island is a beaut.”
Talking more about Nelly Korda’s story. Here’s a look:

Korda last competed at the LOTTE Championship in early October at Hoakalei Country Club, where she finished tied for fourth at 14-under. She later withdrew from the Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown held from October 23–26, with the LPGA citing an injury as the reason.
After the LOTTE Championship Korda spoke about the physical toll of a long season. She said:
“I would say by this time of the year my body is definitely worn down. I do have some injuries I’ve had in the past that kind of linger that are never really fully resolved, that you still do PT on every single day, you do therapy.”
Despite not winning this season, Korda has been consistent throughout 2025, making every cut and recording eight top-10 finishes in 17 starts. She’s expected to return at The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, set for November 13–16 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. Korda has won this event three times, including last year’s 14-under victory.
Nelly Korda was celebrated by her fans this Halloween
Nelly Korda’s form may have dipped in recent weeks, but her fan following remains as strong as ever. Just like last year, several fans celebrated Halloween by cosplaying the World No. 2 golfer.
One of them, Emily Elaine O’Brien, shared family photos on Instagram with her husband, Chris and their daughter, all dressed in outfits inspired by Korda’s signature on-course look. She captioned the post:
“Happy Halloween! Nelly Korda and her caddies 💚🏌️♀️⛳️”
Korda herself didn’t reveal any Halloween costume this year. Last year, he had celebrated the occasion with her sister Jessica Korda and family, dressing as Master Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles while Jessica’s family took on the turtle roles.
The Korda sisters will soon share the field again at the Grant Thornton Invitational in December. Nelly will team up with Denny McCarthy, while Jessica, making her return to competition, will play alongside Bud Cauley.
