Mike Evans’ future has garnered some interest, since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout is set to become a free agent this offseason. While there is still a possibility that Evans can remain at Tampa Bay, the Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans have shown a reported interest in signing the veteran receiver.
The Raiders are projected to take Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 pick in this year’s NFL draft, and some have suggested that Evans could be an ideal option for the team to boost its offense. However, when analyst Ted Nguyen caught wind of the Titans and Raiders’ reported interest in Evans, he warned both teams.
“Two teams that should not be interested with where they’re at in their rebuilding stages,” Nguyen tweeted on Thursday.

The Raiders have many areas that they need to address if they want to make the playoffs next season. Signing Evans might not be at the top of their priority list.
The Titans, who hold the No.4 pick in this year’s draft, also have a few issues they need to resolve before potentially making a move for a veteran wideout like Evans.

LA Chargers reportedly join race to sign Mike Evans

According to reports, the LA Chargers are also monitoring Mike Evans’ situation should the wideout enter free agency.
The Chargers want to give Justin Herbert a few more offensive targets to help the quarterback get his first playoff win. However, Evans still has to decide whether he will stay in Tampa Bay or pursue a challenge elsewhere.
The Buccaneers drafted Evans with the No.7 pick in the 2014 NFL draft. The six-time Pro Bowler helped them win the Super Bowl in 2021.
