The NFL offseason is in full swing as the latest banter between Jaylen Waddle and Pat Surtain makes rounds on the internet. Apparently, Waddle called out Surtain II for a boxing match.
Waddle made the comments while attending the Brand Risk 13 event at Florida Atlantic University. During an interview, the Dolphins receiver was asked who he would fight if he ever stepped into the ring. He didn’t hesitate.
“Pat Surtain, I would beat the f*ck outta him. I’d beat the dog sh*t out of him,” Waddle said. “There are a lot more people, but that’s just top of my mind. I’d beat the dog sh*t out of bro.”
Surtain quickly fired back, addressing Waddle’s challenge.

“Got a little too much dip on your chip 😤👀,” the Broncos All-Pro cornerback tweeted.
The exchange appears to be friendly trash talk. Waddle and Surtain were teammates at Alabama from 2018 to 2020 and even lived together while playing for the Crimson Tide.

Pat Surtain called out Kayshon Boutte for taking shots at Broncos HC Sean Payton
Tension built around the AFC Championship Game last month when Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte took shots at Sean Payton and the Broncos. Boutte was responding to Payton’s confidence about Denver advancing to the Super Bowl.
“I mean, you can rest in Cancun too, at the end of the day,” Boutte said.
Surtain was later asked about Boutte’s comment.
“Any thoughts on Kayshon Boutte’s Cancun comments?” a reporter asked.
“Who,” Surtain replied, dissing the wide receiver with a one-word answer.
Nonetheless, Boutte later attempted to cool the situation in an Instagram story,
“I was saying it as its ‘win or go home’ so you’ll rest regardless! s**t got blown out of proportion,” he wrote.
Boutte was the 187th overall pick for the Patriots in the 2023 NFL Draft.
