Patrick Mahomes did a decent job in the first half of Thursday’s Thanksgiving game at the Dallas Cowboys, scoring a touchdown each to Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce. And he may have been buoyed by a charming gesture.

Before kickoff, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback was seen greeting his children Sterling Skye, Patrick Lavon aka “Bronze”, and Golden Raye, then kissing his wife Brittany thrice:

And earlier in the day, the Mahomes family had posed for a themed photoshoot:

The Chiefs would end the half training 17-14.

For the Cowboys, Dak Prescott completed 16 of 22 attempts for 160 yards and a touchdown to CeeDee Lamb against an interception to Jaylen Watson. Malik Davis had a score in three rushing attempts.

Patrick Mahomes, wife Brittany recently announced partnershp with WHOOP

And this past Sunday, just before the Chiefs faced the Colts, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany announced themselves as the newest endorsers of WHOOP, a health and wellness brand best known for its “watches” that track vitals like strain, recovery, and sleep:

It is the latest in a multitude of brands he has represented — a portfolio that includes Hunt’s, Oakley, State Farm, and Adidas, the last of which he has a signature shoe with. Brittany herself has leveraged her social media influence into partnerships with Abercrombie & Fitch, Hydro Jug, and The Farmer’s Dog.

Besides those endorsements, Mahomes has been an investor in other sports in the Kansas City area. He has ownership stakes in MLB’s Royals, MLS’s Sporting Kansas City, and the NWSL’s Current (the last with Brittany). He and Travis Kelce also have stakes in Alpine’s Formula 1 team.

Speaking to Yahoo in 2021, he said about his off-field ventures:

“I am trying to build an empire off the field in every way. I watch a lot of the great athletes that came before me and they found ways to build their empire and to build themselves up off the field, so I am trying to do that as much as possible.”

Most recently, this year, Mahomes and entered the culinary business with 1587 Prime, a steakhouse located at the Loews Hotel Kansas City.
