Phil Mickelson has reacted to Anthony Kim finally showing a bit of form over in Hong Kong this week.
Kim is determined to rediscover his best form and has taken to the Asian Tour to try and build some confidence.
Kim made the cut at the Hong Kong Open after shooting rounds of 68 and 67.
The last 10 years or so have been really difficult for Kim, both on and off the golf course.
The 40-year-old has been through well-documented struggles with addiction, but he is through the worst of all of that now and is living a sober, happy life.
However, Kim endured huge disappointment on LIV Golf last season with his poor golf culminating with his relegation from the Saudi-backed league.
Phil Mickelson reacts as Anthony Kim makes the cut in Hong Kong
Mickelson has always been a big fan of the 2008 Ryder Cup star.

Back in August, Mickelson consoled Kim after he was relegated from LIV, and now the three-time PGA Tour winner is doing his very best to find something encouraging after so many years in the golfing wilderness.
The six-time major champion got to know Kim very well on the LIV Golf league last year.
And it’s very clear to see that Mickelson is pulling for the 40-year-old.
Mickelson said: “He’s getting better every day and I’m rooting for him!“
Receiving messages like that from someone like Mickelson will do Kim the world of good as he continues his quest to get back to the very best version of himself.

The Hong Kong Open is part of ‘The International Series’.
Whoever tops the money list after the International Series ends earns a card on LIV for the following season.
Scott Vincent currently leads the standings with just two events remaining after this week in Hong Kong.
While Kim may not have a chance of winning the series this year, building some form at the end of 2025 would stand him in good stead ahead of the 2026 season.
Mickelson was clearly delighted to see Kim playing some decent stuff in Hong Kong this week and for his sake, let’s all hope this is the start of better things to come.
With two more International Series events this season in Singapore and Saudi before the end of November, it will be interesting to see how Kim performs.
