President Donald Trump’s love for the game of golf is pretty evident among fans. He often plays sports and owns several golf courses around the world. This week, MLB star Roger Clemens appeared on an episode of “The Will Cain Show” and talked about his golf outing with Trump.
The MLB star, who has a net worth of $70 million (via Celebrity Net Worth), was highly impressed with Donald’s golf and said that after playing with the current president of the USA, he was ready to bet on him against Joe Biden. He said:
“He hit every fairway but one. I rolled up next to him and said, ‘okay, I’ve got money, I want in on that bet — you against Biden right now.'”
Donald Trump had made headlines in 2024 for challenging Joe Biden to a golf matchup during the election campaign. He was critical of Biden’s golf skills and talked about his handicap back then. Trump said:
“I offered him [Joe Biden] a million dollars. He said he’s a 6 [handicap], I said ‘you’re not a 60’. He’s not a 60. So, I said, ‘I’ll give you a million dollars if you can break 100.’ I said, ‘a million, a million if you can break 100’. Now a 6 can break 100 easy, but he can’t.” [15:24 – 15:45]
Their golf debate was the talk of the town in 2024, and later, Trump collaborated with American golfer Bryson DeChambeau for a YouTube video to play a “Break 50” challenge. Not only that, but Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, is also an avid golfer and plays the sport.
Donald Trump’s granddaughter offers a glimpse of playing golf with the U.S. president while sharing her 2025 recap
Earlier this week, Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, shared a few pictures of her 2025 season on her Instagram account. She shared several snaps, and in the last slide included a picture of her playing golf with the U.S. president. She penned down a long caption along with a heartfelt message. She wrote:
“2025 was such a big year. From my grandpa becoming president, to starting my senior year of high school, making my LPGA debut, and going all in on YouTube — it’s been a year I’ll always remember. So grateful for everyone who’s been part of the journey.
“Tomorrow my end-of-year recap will be live on YouTube, so if you’re not already subscribed, make sure you are. Excited for everything ahead in 2026,” she added.

In the snap, Kai Trump took her shot while Donald Trump was sitting on a golf cart in the background. Last year was a pretty amazing year for Donald Trump’s granddaughter, as she also made her LPGA Tour debut. She played in the Annika event on a sponsor exemption but struggled with her game and missed the cut.
