Xander Schauffele didn’t win a penny at The Skins, but he was at his hilarious best throughout the event. What added to the fun was that he also received a $0 check for finishing last.

On Friday, November 28, The Skins game took place with Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Keegan Bradley, and Xander Schauffele being the four contenders. The US Ryder Cup captain went on to win 11 Skin games and claimed prize money of a whopping $2,100,000.

Lowry bagged $1,700,000 for winning four, while Fleetwood took $200,000 with one Skin game win. Schauffele, on the other hand, went winless but didn’t go empty-handed, as he was awarded a hilarious $0 check. The World No. 3 golfer had a hilarious reaction to the unique award.

“Yeah, this is actually my first check I’ve ever gotten, OK, I’m getting a check,” he said. “I’m gonna take Keegan (Bradley’s) advice. I’m gonna frame this in the living room. That’s motivation. Probably the last Skins Game I ever play, to be honest.”
