Maxx Crosby is already being linked with another team, a few hours after the trade fallout with the Baltimore Ravens. On Tuesday, the defensive end reportedly failed his physicals, resulting in the deal with the Las Vegas Raiders being void.
Now, former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones believes that his former team is gearing up to potentially trade for Crosby.
“Sources say, I’m just saying what sources say. I’ve got really good sources,” Jones said in a video. “Maxx Crosby might be in a Bengals uniform. We on the clock right now. I put that on my momma. We’re going to be goddman good this year.”

The Bengals lost Trey Hendrickson to free agency after he played on a restructured deal during the 2025 season. However, he was limited to five games following a hip injury.
One day after Crosby failed his physicals, the Ravens finalized a deal with Hendrickson, signing him to a four-year contract worth $112 million. With the five-time Pro Bowler back with the Raiders, there is an air of uncertainty regarding his future in the league.
The Bengals do have over $24.2 million in cap space (per OverTheCap) to potentially sign Crosby. They currently have Myles Murphy and Shemar Stewart on the depth chart after losing Hendrickson and Joseph Ossai in free agency.
Crosby spent his entire seven-season NFL career with the Raiders. He played in 110 games, recording 439 tackles, 69.5 sacks and 133 tackles for loss. However, the defensive end has just one postseason appearance with the team.

Former Bengals WR urges Zac Taylor and his team to trade for Maxx Crosby
With Maxx Crosby back on the market, a few teams might still be interested in trading with the Raiders for the defensive end. Retired wide receiver Chad Johnson urged his former team, the Cincinnati Bengals, to consider signing the five-time Pro Bowler.
“Bengals go & get Maxx Crosby he can have my f*****g knees,” Johnson tweeted on Wednesday.
The Athletic’s Diana Russini reported the Raiders are not lowering their asking price for the two-time All-Pro. Thus, the Bengals will have to dig deep into their pockets if they consider signing him to the team.
The past few seasons have been underwhelming for coach Zac Taylor and his team. The Bengals have not made the playoffs since 2022, when they lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. Last season, they finished third in the AFC North with a 6-11 record.
