Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes spent time with his family after his team’s loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

He posed for a rare photo with his dad, Pat Mahomes Sr., his brother, Jackson, and his grandfather, Johnny. Pat Sr. posted the picture on Instagram on Monday, with the four of them standing next to each other.

“Happy 78th pops. The Real OG Mahomes,” Pat Sr. wrote.

Pat Sr. tagged Trisha Mahomes in the picture, whom he married in July 2021.

The family picture came only hours after the Chiefs’ (5-5) defeat, which extended the Broncos’ (9-2) winning streak to eight games.

Patrick threw one touchdown while dealing with heavy pressure from Denver’s defense. Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce scored on a 21-yard catch, breaking Priest Holmes’ record for the most touchdowns in franchise history.

Patrick Mahomes’ father had a special message for Chiefs QB on his birthday

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes turned 30 on Sept. 17, and his dad, Pat Mahomes Sr., celebrated it with a loving message.

He shared a photo of them together on Instagram.

“Happy 30th birthday to my son who made me a daddy. I love you more than you will ever know. Patrick Mahomes II. Have a great day,” Pat Sr. wrote.

Pat Sr. is a former Major League Baseball player who pitched from 1992 to 2003. He played for several teams, including the Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Patrick is his first child with Randi Martin.
