Scottie Scheffler’s 343-day-long streak on the PGA Tour has finally come to an end. The World No. 1 golfer tied for 12th at The Genesis Invitational, which was his first finish outside the top ten in a year.
Scottie Scheffler entered Riviera Country Club last week after eighteen straight top tens. He had a shaky start to the tournament as he carded a 74 and then made the cut by just getting inside the cutline. However, his game only improved each day as he shot 68, 66, and 65 to move to T12 and finish at 11-under.
However, the low round on Day 4 didn’t help Scheffler finish inside the top ten, which resulted in the end of his streak. For the uninitiated, the World No. 1 golfer hadn’t had a finish outside the top 10 in the last 343 days. His streak started after the Players Championship 2025, where he tied for 20th.

Speaking of his performance at the Genesis Invitational, Scheffler felt it was a decent conclusion to the weekend.
“I don’t really know how to elaborate on that,” he said. “I think I was in dead last after Thursday, battled just to make the cut and think I had two solid dates over the weekend, yeah.”
