Shedeur Sanders’ rookie season in the NFL was full of ups and downs, but the quarterback had quite a few positives in it. He started the season as a third-string option with the Cleveland Browns, but ended it as the starter, leading the offense in the last seven games.
As they did back in 2024, Shedeur and his brother, Shilo Sanders, pulled up at the Paris Fashion Week on Thursday. The two made appearances on the runway in 2024, building a career in modeling, like their mother, Pilar Sanders. They are expected to repeat that this year.
Shedeur Sanders took an opportunity to troll his brother in a short self-made interview at the venue of the event. After being questioned on who has a better closet, he mentioned Shilo, while stylishly noting he’s currently a free agent after failing to make an NFL final roster.
Shedeur: Shilo, he has a better closet for sure. He has a little more free time.

Shilo: Yeah, I got some more free time now, but we both have swag, you know what I’m saying? We get it from Prime Time.
Shilo Sanders was an undrafted free agent picked up by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the last offseason. However, he was waived as part of the final roster cut after making appearances in the preseason. He was also not part of any team’s practice squad during the season.
Andrew Berry refuses to commit to Shedeur Sanders
General manager Andrew Berry refused to offer any endorsement of Shedeur Sanders as the future starter. When asked directly about the quarterback position, Berry said he remains uncertain whether Cleveland’s next QB will come from internal or external options.
“I think we saw a lot of progress with Shedeur this year. I think that’s both mentally, physically, playing the position. He’s still very much a work in progress like many rookie quarterbacks are,” Berry said. “Now that all being said, we’re going to do our work on the quarterback market.
“It’s too important of a position and it’s something that has to be solidified. I can’t sit here and tell you today, you know, whether the solution for or the starter in 2026 is internal or external. But it’s something that we’re going to work through over the next several weeks. And quite honestly, the new head coach will also have a lot of input into that as well.”
The Browns have three quarterbacks under contract for the 2026 season: Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson and Dillon Gabriel, but uncertainty currently clouds the position. With Berry’s word, it remains to be seen what the franchise’s decision will be on the next quarterback under the next coach.
