Jason Whitlock accused ESPN analyst Mina Kimes of playing the gender card to her advantage during her online feud with former “Last Chance U” coach Jason Brown. On Friday, he sat down with the controversial analyst who highlighted how other people are showing up on social media to defend Kimes in this argument with Brown.
“JB, you and Mina Kimes are going at it, and there have been second and third men enter the ring,” Whitlock said (Timestamp 0:01). “She’s tapped in a few guys to help her out or guys that volunteered. They’ve caped up and are trying to say Mina Kimes from, you pointed out some thing about cover four. …”

Jason Brown then opened up about how he does not have a “defense team” like Mina Kimes to support him in this feud. He also revealed how some of her ESPN colleagues are actually “laughing at her” instead of being there by her side, and that Kimes has not “realized” the gravity of her situation yet.
The discourse between Mina Kimes and Jason Brown started when she evaluated Patriots quarterback Drake Maye’s performance against the Titans in Week 7. Brown did not agree with the analyst’s take and then called her out on Wednesday’s episode of his show called “The Coach JB Show with Big Smitty.”
He also shared a tweet attacking the ESPN analyst with a questionable comment.
“Mina Kimes make me a sammich! @minakimes and @danorlovsky7 can’t allow this much longer!”
Kimes ripped Brown and called him a “clout-chasing psycho” while responding to a fan on X who was trying to defend her.
This triggered a back-and-forth argument that got personal after the analyst shared an Oct. 2024 post, which stated that the former “Last Chance U” coach was charged with eight felonies for blackmail and identity theft.
Jason Brown responded by accusing Kimes of making fake rape allegations against his former players.
“Because you make up false allegations like you did about my 3 players false rape charges with your friend @SarahSpain did you forget? Let me find it for you!”
Broncos insider Benjamin Allbright defends Mina Kimes while calling Jason Brown a “fraud”
Benjamin Allbright publicly showcased his support for the ESPN analyst. While responding to a comment on Peyton Manning’s breakdown of a good play against quarters back in 2024, he labeled Brown as a “fraud” and questioned his game knowledge.
“I just think people that actually know that game know that Jason Brown is a fraud and they’re pretty much laughing at him for being a fraud,” Allbright tweeted.
In his last post on the argument, Brown highlighted how he just wanted Mina Kimes to draw up the quarters play she was talking about on the board. Instead, the ESPN analyst decided to get personal by bringing up “false” allegations against his character.
