The TGL season is nearing its final, which is scheduled to take place next week. This week, on Tuesday, Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club played against Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf, while the Los Angeles Golf Club faced Atlanta Drive GC in the doubleheader semifinals.

After the semifinals, Jupiter Links Golf Club and Los Angeles Golf Club secured their spots in the finals.

In the match between Jupiter Links Golf Club and Boston Common Golf, Woods’ team won four points in triples format and five in singles to finish with nine points. Boston won three points in triples and two in singles for a total of five points.

Meanwhile, in the match between Atlanta Drive GC and Los Angeles Golf Club, Atlanta won four points in triples but failed to score in singles, while Los Angeles won three points in triples and three in singles to secure their spot in the finals.

The TGL Finals 2026 between Jupiter Links Golf Club and Los Angeles Golf Club are scheduled for Monday, March 23.

Jupiter Links’ Tiger Woods shares update on playing TGL final

Fans are anxiously waiting for Tiger Woods to return to the greens. The American golfer has been away from the field since his last outing at The Open Championship in 2024.

Woods did not play for Jupiter Links Golf Club on Tuesday, but he was there to support his team. In the post-round press conference, he was asked if he would play in the TGL final.

“I think that I have been trying to play each and every one of these matches,” he said. “I’ve been trying to come back. But it just hasn’t worked out that way. I’ve had a bad run of injuries last year. I think it’s been a year and a few days since I blew out my Achilles.

“And so then I’ve had two back operations. So it’s been a little rough go. But the guys here, this team, we have so much fun, I really don’t want to screw up the lineup, I just want these guys to keep playing,” he added

Notably, the American golfer underwent disc replacement surgery in October and has been away from the field to focus on his recovery. Next month is The Masters, and it will be interesting to see if Woods plays in the major.

Woods also provided an update about the Masters.

“I said I’ve been working on it,” he said. “Sometimes I have good days, sometimes I have bad days. Disk replacement is not a lot of fun. So Will Zalatoris went through it, he had two levels done, and it takes time. So as I said, I’ve had a lot of procedures prior to that, so the body doesn’t quite heal like it was when I was 24. “

Last season, Jupiter Links Golf Club had a tough time in the TGL and missed the playoffs. This season, however, they have had a good outing and are preparing for the finals.
