Matt Ryan is now gearing up for his new role on the NFL team. Atlanta Falcons’ owner and chairman Arthur M. Blank opened up about the new appointment. He said (via Atlanta Falcons):
“Throughout his remarkable 14-year career in Atlanta, Matt’s leadership, attention to detail, knowledge of the game and unrelenting drive to win made him the most successful player in our franchise’s history. I am confident those same qualities will be a tremendous benefit to our organization as he steps into this new role. “
The Atlanta Falcons, who have a team value of $6.35 billion (according to Forbes), had an amazing time in the 2025 season. They won eight games, securing the number one spot in the NFC South. Matt Ryan has played for them from 2008 to 2021. He is now gearing up for a new role in the team.
Atlanta Drive GC wins two games in TGL season 2
The second season of the TGL started last month, and Atlanta Drive GC has been impressive with their game so far. In the season-opening game, Atlanta Drive GC played against New York GC and registered a win, 4–6.
The TGL team then played in the second game against The Bay GC on January 6 and again registered a win. Billy Horschel, Patrick Cantlay, and Chris Gotterup played in last week’s game to help their team win.
In the post-round press conference, Horschel opened up about the game. He said (via ASAP Sports):
“I don’t know. We come in here and we practice. Chris has been here a lot practicing, and we were in here all three of us today practicing. I’m not sure it gives us an advantage. I think just being the second match over the Bay, we get comfortable on the putting greens and the chips and everything, so I think that’s where the advantage was for Chris and I tonight.”
The Atlanta Drive GC will play its next game against the Jupiter Links Golf Club on February 2.
