The View unveils sleek ‘$10m’ studio with new mugs, gold table & space ‘so big’ Joy Behar ‘gets lost going to bathroom’
THE View has undergone a major change for Season 28, unveiling a whole new set that’s so big it caused Joy Behar to get lost.
The daytime talk show moved studios for the first time in 10 years, which was first announced at the end of Season 27.
The co-hosts were fascinated by their new mugs, which included their faces and New York-themed items
The new $10 million View studio now has a brown and tan theme rather than the blue and white one it had in the past.
Co-host Joy, 81, shared that the studio is “so big” that she’s going to need to use navigation app Waze to get around.
She joked that she got lost on the way to the bathroom.
The audience and The View’s executive producer, Brian Teta, who stands at a podium, are both closer to the hosts, with all of them on the same level now.
In the past, the audience was on a level above the hosts, which caused them to look up at them.
The floor is now a shiny brown linoleum and there are big windows in the back that show off a fake New York City skyline.
