CM Punk LOSING World Title CONFIRMED!?… Dominik INJURED, Austin Theory BIG PUSH | WWE Raw News
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is not under any illusion about his job security. The coach recently denied getting any assurance about his future at the franchise from owner Steve Bisciotti.
Questions about the coach’s job are getting asked more frequently amid a struggle by his team to clinch a playoff berth this season. The Ravens’ playoff hopes got a major hit when the team lost 28-24 to the New England Patriots on Sunday.
A question about Harbaugh’s future at Baltimore came up during his Monday press conference. He answered straightforwardly:
“I try to do the job, not try to keep the job. My focus has been for the last 18 years here, and the last 41 years in coaching to try to do the best job I can today and fight as hard as I can so the guys have the best chance to be successful today. And anything after today, I’m not thinking about because it’s not given for us to think about.”

Harbaugh went on:
“We don’t have control over that, except for the job we do today. And if we do a good enough job today, then the opportunity to do that job or a different job will be there tomorrow. And that’s what you hope for.”
John Harbaugh is in his 18th season as the Ravens’ head coach. Through 18 seasons, he has a Super Bowl ring to show, as well as multiple division titles. However, he’s facing one of his most difficult challenges this season. But he admits it’s just the nature of coaching at any level. He said:
“One thing I always have believed is that, first of all, coaching at any level is a day-to-day job. And your job is to do the best you can today and do everything you can to help your players and your coaches, if you’re a head coach, be the best they can be every single day.”
John Harbaugh’s focus amid Baltimore’s plummeting postseason chances
John Harbaugh stressed that his focus now is on the Ravens’ next game against the Green Bay Packers next Saturday. The game carries huge consequences for the team in its race to make the playoffs.
It’s been a rollercoaster season for Harbaugh’s team, starting the season 1-5. This was followed with five straight wins, increasing its playoff chances to 71.9%, per ESPN Analytics. However, three losses in its next four games saw its postseason chances deflate to 7.5%.
