“This is why black men are so feminized”: Jason Whitlock rips Kimberley Martin after ESPN host suggests Mike Tomlin ditch Steelers

Jason Whitlock responded to Kimberley Martin over her comments about Mike Tomlin’s future with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The sports commentator criticized the ESPN analyst after she suggested Tomlin should leave the organization.

Whitlock made the statement on Wednesday via X. Martin had appeared on ESPN’s “Get Up” earlier that day to discuss the Steelers coach.

“If I’m Tomlin, I want out,” Martin said on Wednesday, via “Get Up.” “If I am Tomlin, because you’re not gonna boo me and say, fire me all these years and then think you’re gonna get better than me. Like I just, I, I wanna be where I’m celebrated and if you guys aren’t sure about me, it’s time for me to go. That’s how I personally feel.”

Whitlock retweeted Martin’s comments and responded with:

“This is why black men are so feminized. Black women train/persuade/encourage them to think like women,” Whitlock wrote. “It’s why black men focus so much on hairstyles and jewelry.”

The comments came one day after Pittsburgh’s 26-7 home loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Steelers have lost five of their last seven games after a 4-1 start.

A fan confronted Jason Whitlock about his statement. The user said he is spreading hatred and allowing inappropriate comments on his platform.

Whitlock defended his position in a direct response. He claimed his intent was to highlight mistakes within the black community.

“I hear you. Is it possible that I point out the mistakes we (black people) are making in hopes that we adjust course?” Whitlock wrote. “This woman is sitting on TV talking about a man’s game and encouraging men to adopt a woman’s mentality. It’s a mistake. It plays out in the home.”

Pittsburgh is currently 6-6 and tied for No. 1 place in the AFC North standings. Mike Tomlin addressed the crowd’s frustration on Tuesday.

The coach agreed with fans who booed the team during Sunday’s loss. He acknowledged that football is entertainment and that winning makes it entertaining.

The Steelers will face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
