Tiger Woods is looking forward to his much-awaited return. He joined the Jupiter Links GC finals Match 2 lineup. This season, his TGL team has been pretty impressive with their game and made it to the final, which is scheduled to take place in a best-of-three-match format.

Woods is expected to join Match 2 of the final, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, March 24. TWLegion shared the news on its X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday with a caption:

“#BREAKING NEWS — Tiger Woods is ENTERING the TGL lineup tomorrow night and will compete.”

It was an unfortunate day for Jupiter Links GC on Monday in Match 1, as they narrowly lost against Los Angeles GC. In TGL Match 1 for Jupiter, Tom Kim played alongside Kevin Kisner and Max Homa.

However, earlier in the season, Akshay Bhatia was part of the team. But this week, he is in India, playing at the Hero Indian Open, a European Tour event, and missed the TGL finals. Kisner has returned in his place, playing his second game since February 2.

Meanwhile, for the Los Angeles GC, Justin Rose played alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Sahith Theegala. Tiger Woods had played in TGL Season 1, but his team struggled and failed to make it to the playoffs. However, they bounced back in this season.

Tiger Woods gears up for possible Masters 2026 comeback

Tiger Woods is expected to play at the Masters 2026. The American golfer had hinted at playing in the event in the last few months, and last week, the tournament dropped a major hint about his appearance at the event.

In Tiger Woods’ bio on the official Masters website, it was written that the 15-time major winner is “making his 27th Masters start in 2026.”

His last outing at the Masters was in 2024. However, he struggled with his game and settled in 60th place. The American golfer has won the major five times in his career, which includes 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2019. He also had an impressive streak of not missing the cut at the Masters since 1997.

As a past winner, he holds a lifetime exemption to play in the major. The 2026 Masters is scheduled to take place from April 9 to 12 at Augusta National.

Before the Masters, fans can see Woods playing in the TGL finals. Jupiter Links GC lost 5–6 on Monday and will next play in the second game on Tuesday. If they manage to win the second game, both teams will head for the decisive Match 3.

Woods underwent a disc replacement surgery last year in October and has been focused on his recovery. It would be interesting to see how things will unfold for him in the TGL this week
