The return of Tiger Woods to professional golf is a topic of intense discussion among avid fans and experts in the sport. Woods, 50, hasn’t played a traditional four-round golf tournament since he last missed cut at The Open Championship in 2024.
The major reason behind Woods’ absence from professional golf has been injuries. Even today, there is no update on when the 15-time Major champion will return. However, despite that, Woods still managed to garner attention by sporting a new look at the TGL finals.
On X , TWLegion posted a photo in which Tiger Woods was seen ditching his classic goatee and sporting a clean-shaven look as he arrived to support Jupiter Links Golf Club in the finals of TGL Season 2. Woods’ new look comes at a time when fans and experts of golf have been questioning whether the Sun Day Red founder will tee off in Augusta next month or not.

When Tiger Woods hosted The Genesis Invitational in February this year, a reporter asked him if The Masters was off the table based on his recovery. At the time, Woods simply said, “No.” However, the most recent update by Woods has left many confused about whether he will participate in The Masters or not.
Tiger Woods provided an uncertain response when asked about playing at The Masters recently
Jupiter Links Golf Club reached the TGL Season 2 finale against Los Angeles Golf Club by beating Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf Club in the semifinals. Following this victory over Boston, Woods participated in a press conference where he was asked a variety of questions.
One such question was about the golfer’s availability to play at Augusta. While Woods opened up about his recovery and mentioned he has both good and bad days, overall, the golfer stayed tight-lipped and didn’t give away much. Woods answered the question by saying:
“I said I’ve been working on it. Sometimes I have good days, sometimes I have bad days. Disk replacement is not a lot of fun. So Will Zalatoris went through it, he had two levels done, and it takes time. So as I said, I’ve had a lot of procedures prior to that, so the body doesn’t quite heal like it was when I was 24. Doesn’t quite bounce back. So I have good days when I can pretty much do anything, and other days where it’s hard to just to move around.”
If Tiger Woods returns at The Masters 2026, it will be his first appearance at Augusta since 2024. The last time Woods played in this competition, he posted a score of 73-72-82-77 and finished in 60th place.
