Veteran PGA caddie calls Donald Trump ‘batsh*t crazy’ while reacting to the President’s low handicap claim

Veteran caddie Kip Henley reacted to Donald Trump’s low handicap claim. The U.S. president is known for his love for the game of golf. He plays the sport often and also owns several golf courses around the globe.

This week, speaking to military service members for Thanksgiving, he was asked about his handicap. He said that he has been a “good golfer” over the years and that he had a “very low handicap.”

“I beat a plus-3 — that’s 3 better, 3 below par, for those who don’t know — in the finals of the club championship last year with all that I was going through and with no practice. So I am a good golfer,” he said.

Nuclr Golf shared a video of Trump talking about his low handicap on its X (formerly Twitter) account with a caption:

“I’ve won 38 club championships and I don’t get to practice. So I’m a very low handicap, and I’ve won 38…everyone legitimately. So I guess I got to be around scratch or better. I beat a plus three.”

Henley reshared the post on his X account, with a caption:

“I have won one club championship in my life. Just sayin, This man is still going to do more to drain the swamp than any President in the history of our country. He’s batsh*t crazy but not bought by anyone. You guys need to let up and let him work. 95% of us Trumpers don’t want him to rule past the next 3 years. HE LOVES OUR COUNTRY!!”

I have won one club championship in my life. Just sayin. This man is still going to do more to drain the swamp than any President in the history of our country. He’s batshit crazy but not bought by anyone. You guys need to let up and let him work. 95% of us Trumpers don’t want him to rule past the next 3 years. HE LOVES OUR COUNTRY!!

Golf Digest had previously reported in 2017 that Donald Trump’s handicap is 2.8. Meanwhile, in his interview, Trump was also asked if he would be playing a game of golf with Joe Biden. In response, he said that he would “love to.” Last year, during the presidential election campaign, Trump challenged Biden to a golf game.

Donald Trump invited golfer Bryson DeChambeau for dinner at the White House

Donald Trump, earlier this month, hosted a special dinner for elite guests at the White House. He also invited LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau. A fan page, Bryson Legion, shared a video of the U.S. president enjoying his dinner with his guest on its X (formerly Twitter) account.

Last year, during his election campaign, Donald Trump collaborated with DeChambeau for a YouTube video. He played a Break 50 challenge with the professional golfer.

Not only Trump, but his granddaughter also plays golf. Kai Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump, is a golfer and plays as an amateur. She made the headlines earlier this month after she played in the Annika on a sponsor exemption. However, she struggled to make the cut in the LPGA Tour tournament.
