The New England Patriots are making headlines after a recent leaked bodycam footage surfaced on social media. It was from the time when they decided to celebrate winning the AFC Championship in January.
In the video obtained by “TMZ Sports,” we see the police entering the establishment called “Estella” late at night. At the start of the clip, we see a woman informing the officers that “all of the Patriots” were inside celebrating their conference championship victory.
The police then entered the establishment to find several people in the basement with hookahs and strippers. There were also a few dollar bills lying on the floor. 7 News reported that the team was found partying with “nude” or “semi-nude” exotic dancers in the restaurant & lounge.

The owners of the establishment received a one-day suspension for the violations they committed. They reportedly did not have an entertainment license for the strippers or an indoor smoking license for the hookahs. However, the AFC team has yet to provide a statement on this situation.
The Patriots impressed with their performance last season under first-year coach Mike Vrabel. After winning the AFC Championship, they faced the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX. However, they suffered a disappointing 29-13 loss in the season finale, ending their hopes of lifting the Lombardi Trophy for the first time since the 2018 season (Super Bowl LIII).
Under Mike Vrabel, quarterback Drake Maye showed drastic improvement in Year 2. He recorded 4,394 yards and 31 TDs passing and finished as the MVP runner-up behind Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.

New England Patriots bolster defense by acquiring Kevin Bayard
Mike Vrabel and his team are utilizing the offseason to bolster the roster and make another Super Bowl run this upcoming season.
On Wednesday, the Patriots signed veteran safety Kevin Byard to the team. The three-time All-Pro agreed to a one-year deal worth $9 million.
Byard began his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans in 2016. He spent eight seasons with the team and recorded 674 tackles, four sacks, 27 interceptions and 15 tackles for loss.
The three-time Pro Bowler was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in Oct. 2023. He played in 10 games and recorded 75 tackles and one interception while the team finished with a wild-card playoff loss to the Buccaneers.
In March 2024, Kevin Byard then joined the Chicago Bears on a two-year, $15 million deal. Last season, he put up 93 tackles and seven interceptions in 17 games. Under first-year coach Ben Johnson, the Bears made the playoffs, but lost to the Rams in a divisional round showdown.
