LeBron James had a scary encounter while playing golf. The NBA star is known for his love for the game of golf. Ahead of the weekend on Friday, he played golf with UnitedMasters CEO Steve Stoute, who offered a glimpse of their outing on his Instagram account.
While playing golf near a lake, James saw an alligator in the water. Nuclr Golf shared a video of the NBA star on its X (formerly Twitter) account with a caption:
“An alligator snuck up on LeBron James as he attempted to get his golf ball after it went into the hazard. Should he have played the ball or did he make the right call picking it up?”
LeBron James’s fondness for golf makes headlines for his outings. He has been vocal about his love for the game, and last year, the NBA star talked about golf.
“I’m the wrong guy to ask that question, champ,” LeBron said. “I watch YouTube golf these days, so I’m the wrong guy to ask about that. [Keyonte George] played great tonight, played great the last time we played them, he’s playing good ball. But yeah, I’m more into the Bryan Bros, Grant Horvat, Bryson DeChambeau and the rest of those guys.”
Not only on the greens, but he also practiced his golf swing on a simulator, and last year, he even installed a simulator in his house.
LeBron James collaborates with Tom Kim for a Nike ad
LeBron James collaborated with PGA Tour pro Tom Kim for a Nike advertisement. The advertisement features the two sports stars playing golf.
It starts with the NBA star getting on the greens to play the game. However, Kim pokes fun at him and gives him advice to take a perfect shot.
“Everyone giving you advice on your game? That’s the worst,” Kim said. “Just remember, it’s all in the hips. Keep that grip loose.”
James thanked Kim and continued with the game using Nike’s new earbuds. Throughout the advertisement, others continue to give him advice, but he remains focused on his game.
James shared a video of the advertisement on his Instagram account earlier this week. Along with it, he penned a sweet caption.
“Alright ya’ll… easy on the swing now! 🏌🏾♂️👑 Beats and Nike have been a part of my journey for years and now they’re finally coming together! The special-edition Nike Powerbeats Pro 2 coming March 20th,” he wrote.
This season on the PGA Tour, Tom Kim has had decent outings. He has played in six events and made the cut in all of them. Some of his best finishes are T38 at The American Express, T35 at the WM Phoenix Open, and T34 at the Genesis Invitational.
