Shedeur Sanders will start his first NFL game for the Cleveland Browns in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The game will kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET from Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

Ahead of his first NFL start, Shedeur shared a warm embrace with his father, Deion Sanders.

Deion, who is in his third year as Colorado’s coach, took some time off from his duties with the Buffs to be at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.

Earlier this week, Deion said that he was proud of his son Shedeur when the Browns QB made his debut in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, replacing the concussed Dillon Gabriel.

“Getting in the way he did, you know, I knew there was going to be some inconsistencies, of a lot of things, because I know football. But I was happy for him just getting the opportunity and running on that field, because I know the fight behind the fight,” Deion said on Tuesday.

Sanders went 4 of 16 for 47 yards with an interception and was sacked twice against the Ravens. He also had three carries for 16 yards as the Browns, who led by six points at halftime, lost 23-16.

Shedeur Sanders played his entire collegiate career with Deion Sanders as his coach

Shedeur Sanders was coached by his father, Deion, during his entire four-year collegiate career.

Sanders committed to play at Jackson State in 2021. He spent two years with the Tigers before transferring to Colorado after the program hired Coach Prime.

In his final year with the Buffs, Sanders won the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year award. The QB led CU to a 9-4 record, as the Buffs were recognized as one of the best teams in the country.

Now, Sanders will be eager to make a mark on his first start to the Browns.
