Tiger Woods didn’t play at the Hero World Challenge but showcased his form while roasting Kevin Kisner. Recently, he pulled his TGL teammate’s leg, revisiting his hilarious bunker shot earlier this year.

Tiger Woods was present in the commentary box alongside Kevin Kisner during NBC’s coverage of the Hero World Challenge. While discussing the upcoming season, Kisner asked the 15-time major champion if he would like to see him practicing chipping ahead of the TGL season.

“Hey, I’ve seen you chip,” Woods took a dig at Kisner.

Kisner said he was working on it, but the golfing great insisted he needed to work more on his bunker game. Following this, the broadcast replayed Kisner’s hilarious bunker shot where he hit the pole.

While recalling the moment, Woods couldn’t control his laughter.

“We were all crying,” he said.

Here’s the hilarious conversation between Kisner and Woods:

For the uninitiated, it was a forgettable first season for Tiger Woods’ led team, as they finished fifth in the points table. They could win just one game out of the five and earned only two points.

During the NBC broadcast, Tiger Woods was in all praise of son Charlie Woods’ progress this season,

“I’m very proud of what Charlie’s done this year,” he said. “He has really grown. He’s matured, maturing within the game of learning how to play, learning how to keep his card more clean and shooting better scores.”

“I mean, he won his first AJGA event, first-team All-American this year. He won his second state championship, which was awesome. Now he’s tied with his sister, so they both have two,” he added.

Charlie Woods and Woods are regular features at the PNC Championship, but it is not clear if the duo will be in action later this month. For the uninitiated, the 82-time PGA Tour champ is currently recovering from back surgery he had this year.

The star golfer has been out of action this season and hasn’t played any official event since the Open Championship 2024. However, he did compete in the PNC Championship 2024 with son Charlie, where the duo finished runner-up.

It is still not clear when the ace golfer will return to the golf course, but fans will be hoping to see their favorite on the green soon.
