A shocking development concerning PGA Tour pro Wyndham Clark has come to light. According to a recent report, Clark has parted ways with his longtime caddie, John Elis. Furthermore, Clark has also found an experienced replacement for the outgoing Ellis.
On X (formerly Twitter), Matt Gannon first reported that Clark and Ellis have parted ways. According to Gannon, Dave Pelekoudas will now work the bag for Clark, for the foreseeable future. Pelekoudas has filled in for Ellis in the past, which means he has experience working with Clark.
The tweet from Gannon read:
“long time partners, us open winners wyndham clark & john ellis have parted ways. wyndham will have dave pelekoudas (aka big wave dave) on the bag for the foreseeable future. dave has filled in for ellis in the past & has looped for various pros in his tenure.”

The reason why Clark and John Ellis’ separation comes as a shock is that Ellis has been by Clark’s side since he turned pro in 2017. Together, Clark and Ellis have three professional wins, including a Major Championship, the 2023 US Open.
