Emmanuel Acho called his and Leonard Fournette’s NFL careers “disappointing” on his “Speakeasy” show on Monday, and fans were not happy with the comparison.
The retired running back criticized Acho’s football credibility on his “4th and South” podcast. Acho fired back, saying that a No. 4 pick with a Super Bowl ring had no business questioning anyone’s resume while holding a microphone. Fans on X reacted to his comments.
“This dude had the gall to actually call out an accomplished former top 5 pick lol. Wtf are you talking about, you had 20 tackles all time. This is how fans think about players in the league. Because of people like Acho, they think if you’re not a HoF player you’re not successful” one fan wrote.

“Your being a “6 Round Pick” ain’t SH*T if you have been a bench warmer player for the Philadelphia Eagles two years you played. Stop acting like you know more football than everybody. was right..,” a fan tweeted.
“Any average RB shelf life in the NFL is 2.5 years… Fournette lasted 8 years with a Super Bowl ring. WTH is dude talking about,” another fan tweeted.
“Acho admitting he was a disappointment is fine. Pretending his career was anything close to Fournette’s is where we draw the line,” a fan said.
“He has an SB ring, dude,” one fan commented.
“This show just goes after other podcast and rarely has any solid takes. And on top of that there are no women on this show lol please improv,” another fan said.
Acho appeared in 20 games across four seasons with the Eagles, recording 33 career tackles as a sixth-round pick. Fournette was drafted in 2017, registering 1,000 rushing yards in two seasons and winning his Super Bowl ring with Tampa Bay in 2021.

What sparked the Emmanuel Acho and Leonard Fournette feud?

The feud started when Emmanuel Acho praised Kevin Stefanski on Friday, saying he was the “best thing to happen to the Cleveland Browns” in Leonard Fournette’s lifetime. Fournette, who launched the “4th and South” podcast on March 11 alongside fellow LSU alum Jarvis Landry, responded by questioning Acho’s credibility as an analyst.
“It says 33 tackles in your career,” Fournette said on Saturday. “It says he started two games. Out of every NFL analyst they have, he has the weakest resume.”
Acho hit back, acknowledging that his playing career fell short on expectations. However, he stressed that eight running backs drafted after Fournette were still active in the league last year.
